This series includes correspondence to and from individual staff and board members, as well as general office correspondence and other documents regarding topics of interest to members of the Rocky Mountain Farmers Union. Files are listed alphabetically in the inventory of this finding aid. However, legal-sized files were separated from the letter-sized files and housed in boxes 24 through 27, as indicated in the inventory.

The subseries includes research files specifically for the book, book and chapter drafts, and correspondence with publishers. It also includes Warren's original index cards where he recorded his information on people and animals during his travels that became the basis for Zoolexicon: a desk reference for writers, editors, and wildlife professions, a guide to animal terms and words.
